Service Description

$25 Deposit Required to Reserve Sitting. Save 10% Monday - Thursday The first reshoot is included, each additional reshoot will incur a $25 fee to cover the costs of chemistry. Want to keep the reshoots? They are 50% original price. ​ Changes to the people, the pose, or the set reverts charge to the original fee. Tintypes are an antique handmade art form using equipment and techniques more than a century old. As a result, chemistry artifacts will occur. Don't think of these as bugs, but features, giving each plate a unique - dare I say magical - quality. That being said, if said artifact negatively obscures the focal point of the image, a reshoot is no cost. Please allow at least 2 hours per session - more if you want additional poses or reshoots. If you plan to take the plates with you when you leave, know that after the tintype is shot it still has to be washed, dried, varnished and baked. Fell free to go play and come back later in the day. Got plans afterwards and know you will be in a hurry? Please opt to have the tintypes mailed to your home for an additional charge of $20.
